Played the Halo: Combat Evolved demo for Mac way back in the day, but was never compelled to buy it. Played a little Halo 2 at a friend's apartment, but did not count it because I did not own or finish the game. Mortal Kombat, Batman, and Metal Gear I have likewise never had an interest in.

Out of the above characters, I've only played 4: Adam Jensen (Deus Ex: Human Revolution, row 1, column 1), Chell (Portal, Portal 2, row 1, column 5), Faith (Mirror's Edge, row 2, column 9), and Louis (Left 4 Dead, row 4, column 3). Four out of 40 doesn't seem all that great.

Funny this topic should come up. My younger brother joined the Marine reserve last year. This weekend, he did what he calls the most emotionally painful thing he has done so far. When a US Marine dies, a detail is left with the body, and that detail does not leave until the body is safely in the ground. A corporal

I see people in their 20's, maybe their 30's. Wouldn't an endurance race across the country be filled with old hands as well? Ex NASCAR, Formula 1, Cart, Rally, and stunt drivers in their 40's and 50's out for one last hurrah and a nice retirement package?

What is the best way to get a Kotaku writer/reporter interested in a tip posted in the #tip forum?

Naw, he should have either an Army green stretched 70's Chevy Caprice labeled "Nuclear Ordinance Disposal" or an ambulance with a doctor of questionable ability in the back.

There is this orchestra in the Netherlands who have you covered with your Monkey Island fix. Sadly, I don't think they have an album for sale with the piece on it. The only thing I've been able to find is this YouTube video.

Played Call of Duty. Played horn in an orchestra.

Stargate Universe season 1. Its predecessors, Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis, did not always take themselves seriously. Some episodes were light hearted, others downright comical. They could be dramatic, yes, but the drama was always balanced out by something humorous. That is what a lot of Stargate fans

Nullified by missing the more obvious and fitting Muppets reference.

I'm rather surprised a certain beat-boxing, uni-wheeled, triangle-shaped robot isn't in the list of annoying NPCs. Sure, I don't find CL4P-TPs annoying, but other members of the Internet certainly do.

Any makers here? I'm an electrical engineer with a love of open source hardware and software who has decided to pen his own EULA in response to some of the crazy terms of service clauses we are beginning to see. I was just wondering if anyone would like to take a look and offer some suggestions.

Don't forget Stargate. That always messed me up.

In a way, no. Both companies have relied on each other for revenue. There are portions of the Microsoft and Apple tech campuses devoted to developing hardware and software for the other's systems. It is why Office has a Mac version and why your iPod can connect to your Windows 7 powered IBM. I imagine the two

Glider? I've played Glider. I'm afraid I am too young to have played it when it first came out, but the original developer of the game is giving it away for free. It runs just fine on modern Macs and makes those sweet, classic MIDI controlled Mac sounds. Reminds me of my many years playing The Learning Company

Except the red coat of the British Armed Forces was practical for its time. Red and burgundy dyes were the most common and cheapest available, and because smokeless powder had not been invented yet, once the shots started flying you could not see anyone through the smoke. Modern day camouflage was completely

So, I enjoy this band called I Fight Dragons, and they are releasing a new album late next month. The band uses old video game hardware in many of its songs and has used sprite art for album and EP covers in the past. The cover for KABOOM!, however, looks familiar in a way. I think the cover is covered in

As much as I enjoy NCIS, I think I would rather play a video game that allows me to bomb around the Hawaiian Islands in a Ferrari whilst wearing a floral shirt and one of Television's Top Ten Moustaches.

Wait, wait, wait. There was a Ren & Stimpy game on a SEGA console?
