@MysticStick: Because in colder weather the plastic would become brittle and possibly break were it to hit the ground, as in throwing one's self to the ground for an incoming mortar attack? Probably don't last as long and are more expensive than the sheet steel versions too.

@Cake Tank!: Unfortunately, probably not this year. MNC runs on Unreal Engine 3, and unlike its predecessors, there is no Mac version of the engine currently available. I can, however, confirm it plays nice with a 2007 iMac running Windows 7, despite what may be a lacking graphics processor (Radeon X1600).

@Chicken Pawks: The worst are the smugglers: tearing up the roadways in fast cars with their headlights turned off, trying to sneak in tax free maple syrup under the dead of night.

Now playing

Semi-related. I now finally know what video game inspired this.

No attempt to steal a stripped-down yellow 1969 Dodge Charger from a bespeckled physicist in orange armor and his navigator/fellow rebel who was recently run through by an alien entity? I am dissapointed. Otherwise, great sketches.

@MCX405: I agree wholeheartly.

Watched the videos out of curiosity (not a big fan of comic books or Capcom games). Anybody else think Haggar sounds kind of like Cat from that old Nickelodeon cartoon "CatDog"?

@GamerKT: MOSFET. Electronics-based, not game-based, but I rather think it is a cute name for a cat. Mosfet.

I'm currently stuck in my brother's apartment, waiting for my school's dorms to open back up. Been fiddling around with a few Flash games I used to play, like Skyrates, a game in which you direct a pilot to fly to a number of floating islands to engage in trade. Having never played EVE, I'm heasitant to call it EVE,

Whose bright idea was it to put the health and mana indicators at the far ends of the screen so that the player can only focus on one at a time?

@breadtruck: Leaderboard. You can make a run on a map and upload both your time and the route you took. Other players can then try to outrun a red ghost that runs the same path you did.

Hooray! Mirror's Edge is not on the list!

Huh, no mention of Steam coming to the Mac in April. I am rather dissapoined at that.

Dear Ubisoft:

Buyer's note on the Invincible: no engines. Buyer must transport at own expense. Seller recommends 689"x118" boat trailer towed by a vehicle with a rated tongue weight of at least 17,000 tons.

@Nawara_Ven: Actually, they are the same in terms of complexity and manpower. Just see the open source game Battle for Wesnoth ([www.wesnoth.org] The difference is the mindset of the developers and contributors. Open source developers do what they do because they enjoy it and do not expect to be compensated for it
