why stop with student debt? Why should I have to pay off my mortgage, my car loan, my credit card debt. I never went to college. I want my free money too!!

Trying to figure out how one can be a Keanu fan without having seen Point Break by now. For the love of god, yes, get on that right fucking now!
I’m so fucking jealous. Please tell me the bit was (at least sometimes) Ted “Theodore” Logan.
I had the surreal experience of working directly on an IT project for one of Keanu’s side-businesses, which he ended up getting directly involved with.
I’m not the person you replied to, but as I see it, complaining about “the narrative” is almost universally used to mean “I can’t say you’re wrong about anything, but I don’t like the implications of those true facts”.
Got some real “I’m about to speak to your manager vibes” here.
Is there any reason why you seemed to willfully disregard the artist’s actual point, mentioned in the gist you linked to?
Hey. I read some of the comments and felt the need to say something (yay, right)? Yes, you were wrong, perhaps even somewhat spectacularly (just because you posted your title). However, don't feel too bad. You learned something new! I think that's valuable. Don't let anyone call you an idiot - you are not one. Do read…
Guppy you have an odd combination of knowledge and ignorance regarding a narrow slice of the electromagnetic spectrum. :)
Physicist here. EM radiation propogates at the same speed regardless of frequency. It’s why the frequency and wavelength have a constant relationship. The constant is velocity. This is kinda physics 101.
So.... that is the weirdest way I’ve seen someone tell the world they failed 5th grade science all day long.
Radio waves travel at the speed of light.
Yeah, something I kept with me from when I used to ride. It doesn’t matter who’s fault, right of way, or green light it is, the guy on the motorcycle loses every-single-time.
In this case, the accident was caused by poor driving by two trucks - one slowing too fast, the other following too close. So instead maybe it should be shown in truck driver school to show the damage that can be done by poor driving?
And in a lot of instances, like this one, it’s the truck driver’s fault for driving like a reckless asshole with no regard for the lives of others…
More truckers need to see this image to learn not to tailgate and to stop riding people’s asses. I hope this idiot loses his CDL for good…
As someone who drives a ~$60K truck myself, I’m not sure how to interpret your comment lol.
There you go with reasonable facts and data to refute a story. Take your star. Still, this sure explains how so many people are driving around in $60k trucks.
It doesn’t take a crystal ball to see where things go from here — just a passing look at what happened a decade ago.
