Alright then, will pick up volume 1 later. About Stumptown… I still like the noir/crime elements but the series' hook (it's setting) is completely alien to me since I'm in the Philippines and have absolutely no interest in the Portland/local cultural scene. I tried the first arc of volume of 3 and this just soured me

Yup and it's 20% off at our bookstore (in the Philippines) so really really tempted to pick it up

Have you read Queen and Country? Is it worth picking up? (I love Gotham Central, Lazarus, but loathe Stumptown)

The LOST comparison is apt but geez are these kids annoying.

I get you. Though Superior Foes is amazing. And though it doesn't connect with me either, I still keep buying Morning Glories. I hate it but I can't help it. And it isn't the art.

I've read that part with Namor and Hep and that was one of the few times the pornface was actually appropriate! And really, really funny!

what are these 'other parts I frequent'?

Waiting for the local bookstore to put the deluxe edition of volume 1 on sale heh. I'm a little worried though about Archer and Gilad being… brothers?

I have no idea who A and A are but heck yeah. I'm a little worried about the previews for Q and A though. A CAPE, ERIC?! A CAPE??!!

is the next arc of new warriors worth picking up? i need me some sppppeeedballs.

what's good about southern bastards? admittedly, i'm not american so i have no idea how to react to the setting and the whole southern thing.
and chew is freaking awesome.
