Melanie is just an apparation. The real Melanie could've gotten her hair wet again somehow, couldv'e lost her chain around her neck, but couldn't have put her old clothes on that she had on when she came out of the lake. Those clothes are still up in Chester's Mill. Please, writers, grant us that much.

And the ratings will either fall hard or rise depending on how hilarious the quality of the show's goofs are.

Under The Dome got a rating of 1.8 with 7 & 1/2 million viewers against The Blacklist. I think a lot of people tuned in to hate watch what they thought would wind up being the series finale but it backfired for them. Now it has a much better chance of getting renewed. But it raises the question, renewed to what?
