I commented a few times but stopped yesterday because it was frustrating to read so much snarky-ness from both sides.

Agreed. It seems that the people who dislike the IC are discounting the power of awareness, and how that is what brings change. I have also found that the comments in all the posts about this have become too negative - from both sides. You are either stupid/gullible/racist etc. if you shared, liked or think that there…
Sorry - should have clarified. I meant independent sources (blogs, articles) that are in favour of IC and the video. They site a lot of detractors but no one in favour of it. Have they looked and can't find any journalists, other activists, etc., that are in favour? They don't say they have looked so...
I would feel better about it if they showed both sides, not just the detractors. Both articles lean heavily towards the negative. True impartiality would give equal time/space to both sides.
First, in my post, I don’t say it isn't a complex situation, I say it isn’t a question whether we should try to capture him and that the point of the IC video was to raise awareness so people will pressure their governments to take action.
Hi! Thanks for replying.
Can we really question if it is the right decision? He kidnaps children, makes them into child soldiers, makes them kill their family, rapes them, etc. Thousands of people have already died, and will continue to. He might not be in Uganda, but he is continuing his terrible crimes in the region. There really is no…
I must be missing something. I don't see where they are saying they are giving the money raised to the Ugandan Army. They say they want to create awareness and put pressure on governments to do something about Kony.
AGREED! Hate the hipster douchebag delivery of the information all you want but if it puts pressure on the people who have the power to actually stop this motherfucker - WHO CARES?
Me too! HAHAHA! She is exactly who I thought of when I read this headline!
Me too!! LOVE. Love the face. Love the ass. Love the tattoo! Love this article.
I have had quite a few pets - but none for a while. My first pet was a cat named Tiger. I was 7 and she was vicious. Also had a cat named Aluiches (Aloysius - I didn't know how to spell it when i had to register her at the vets. And yes, we thought she was a boy kitty). A dog named Portia, and a dog named Irish Paddy.…
I've only done it once. It was pretty hot, but I felt a bit awkward once we were both done. Kind of "...well... okay then... night..."
