I'd like Zappos to take complete control over the so-called customer service units of American, Delta, and United Airlines.

@UrbanBlight: Unfortunately, students will retaliate when they complete the course evaluations. Some administrations place a ridiculous amount of importance on evaluations these days.

VOTE: Chronolite for iPhone

@shallnot: I no longer have the problem. Still have my Macs. I no longer have Microsoft Live Mesh, which supposedly supports Macs.

Live Mesh became "Live Mess" for me a little over a year ago. It claimed it worked with Mac OS "10.5 and above." My password stopped working and I had no access to my files. Two MS tech reps tried to convince me I was typing my password incorrectly. They also assured me that Live Mesh was compatible with OS 10.6

VOTE: OmniFocus

I'd add OmniOutliner and RapidWeaver.

VOTE: Threadbox

@Brian Tankersley: Agreed. It also needs an outliner. You can get the appearance of an outline with CSS, but it's not collapsible.

VOTE: Dropbox

VOTE: Time Machine

The guy in the photo and video above holds the Magic Mouse much differently than I do. I never realized there was an ergonomic problem, but if I arched my palm up like that, it would probably hurt before long.

Vote: TurboTax

@mp.techpaper+forum: Like others, my experience is the opposite. I never even notice Dropbox. It just works.

@Niscrome: Spotlight is a quick and easy way to find files and launch applications. I've tried QS on two Macs and it crashed several times before I discovered why so many people are enamored with it.

I use Evernote every day and I recommend it often. It's great for a fast, easy inbox, but writing and formatting text in Evernote makes you feel like you're not using the right tool for the job.

@Alex Wesley: I left Live Mesh because it took Microsoft way too long to make it compatible with Snow Leopard. Worse, Microsoft's insufficient information about the problem created a ton of frustration and prevented me from accessing my files.

start.io leaves the others in the dust.

VOTE: iTunes

@NormanPhiloctetes: Unfortunately, iClip hasn't been updated in ages and doesn't work properly in Snow Leopard. Frankly, I wish the developer would either update it or provide refunds. I've since purchased PTH Pasteboard Pro, which works quite well.
