It’s not for me, but I understand it. Historic buildings are central to my interests, and assuring they remain traditional to their form; however, I’d want to replace the wiring and plumbing, hidden elements that only serve to risk the longevity and safety of the building and occupants.

I would hardly call an AMG S Wagon wrong compared to the Subies.

Must be. Around here in the Nordics 3 series was 72% wagons in 2017. I would imagine A4 and C class have even higher share in here, especially A4. I’m not even sure when was the last time I’ve seen A4 that wasn’t an avant.

My brother-in-law (not a car guy) really wants a wagon. He’s practical and wants economy and utility, so he asked me why is it so hard to find a wagon that’s not a Subaru.

I assume they mean 3-4% sold in the US. Here in Germany it’s about 2/3, as in 67%. I just doublechecked this on a big used car website, and the availability of 2016 3-series wagons is twice as large as 2016 3-series sedans.

Have the Astros won the World Series already?  Did the Nationals decide to just forfeit in light of the inevitable fulfillment of the prophecy?

“Fuck your Grandpa” is a take I’m here for.

That is such a weird but spiritually satisfying stat I had to go look it up.

The year your grandfather turned one, 1925, the Yankees finished 69-85 (because Babe Ruth drank(?) himself into the hospital).

First decade they haven’t been in the World Series since the 1910s.....since WWI era baseball. Remarkable.

We made it through a decade without a Yankee championship! Rejoice!

The Yankees won’t be in the World Series, and all is well with the world once more.

Both domestic abusing closers blew it?

Not the same level of seriousness, but I have a cousin with Down’s Syndrome. When he was in his early 20s, he started shoplifting, and because he obviously had some metal issues, the police would call his parents and they’d come get him. He knew he wasn’t supposed to do it, but we think he enjoyed the attention.

Imagine if every police officer was as empathetic with suspects...

being a former oregon wr, he’s quite familiar with the different techniques used to defend against the shotgun.

At first glance it’s hard to tell exactly what Kyrie is getting at, but if you dig a little deeper, you’ll fall through the bottom of the Earth.

The only thing that stops a sad guy with a gun is a good guy bearing 2 arms (that are good at hugging) and

Good guy with a hug

Same dude that faked an injury in one of the above articles, so that a teammate could get some playing time. Good dude, this guy.
