This sort of thing has earned the term “stochastic terrorism.”

The veil has been ripped off the Republicans for a small segment of Americans. Many already knew what they were, and many believe the racists are just a small subset of the Republican Party and they can “take their party back” to being the party of fiscal responsibility. They don’t realize it’s years too late for…
Well, maybe not.
Kids take up every fucking minute of your goddam life, and they’re an inconvenience to others, which is why Moms usually band together in packs. Spread out the misery.
GODDAMMIT. These WikiLeaks emails are making it REALLY HARD for me to continue to act holier than thou around my republican acquaintances. Get your shit together, democrats!
If you’re friends, colleagues or semi-teammates with a group of women, pretend to have a friendship / kinship with them to their face, then rate them by fuckability behind their back with your male buddies then yeah, you should be ashamed.
I think the main difference here is sexual violence towards women, women are often targeted and victims of sexual violence, by men who do the type of thing like this. If the roles were reversed it is definitely not desirable but men to fear women as sexual predators the same way women do men. (Men aren’t taught to not…

Renting an auditorium on weekends is fine. But school isn’t just a building, it’s a group of people doing particular stuff. The church that rents on Sunday shouldn’t be up in school giving teachers free lunch and fiddling with bulletin boards. It grows from there.
by the way, free lunch is how drug companies get doctors to prescribe their products. I’m sure these church members are always around to insert themselves into your public school, despite it being inappropriate. It works for corporations so religions working it too.
The “genius idea” came from a church. Why are you hesitant and skeptical? This wasn’t an “oops.” It was deliberately planned this way to express their blatant homophobia. They still haven’t apologized (except for the “inconvenience” to the Christians who already paid for their tickets.)
There’s an actual, planned out, written agenda by the Christian Right to establish a presence in public schools and put themselves forward to children as the norm. Perhaps you should look at why your school isn’t funded?
The encroachment of evangelicals and public life never ceases. They’ve been successfully breaking down the wall between church and state for years, all under the guise of looking “wholesome”. There is nothing wholesome about theocracy
Nope. I work for a public library, and religious and political uses of our meeting spaces are specifically forbidden by our policies. Cause, you know, wall of separation and all that. we are a government entity.
Same reason Christian organizations are allowed to teach abstinence-only sex ed programs in government-funded public schools, I guess.
My question is this: How is a Christian organization allowed to do a “Christian interactive experience” haunted house in a government funded public school?
I hate those beards. They don’t make men look like rugged lumberjacks, they make them look like anti-social conspiracy theory lunatics who have been living in the woods without electricity or a mirror, and who have just stumbled out into the real world after 6 months off their meds.
The problem with the “I had too many drinks” excuse is that I’ve never used language that isn’t part of my vocabulary when drunk: racial epithets aren’t part of my language usage - but cursing is. So unless Mel (who also raged to his then-girlfriend, “I hope you get raped by a pack of n*****s”) thought in these terms…
That picture of him looks like the physical embodiment of his words, which are pure just-below-the-surface rage spiced with a heaping pile of denial kneaded together with generous helpings of entitlement and superiority.
HOW HAVE I NEVER NOTICED THE FACE ON THE SCALE?!?!?
