I’m not going to knock on free content for my Chromecast (that I don’t have to use if I don’t want to), but can’t picture there being much I’m interested in on there, if anything (especially considering the ads).

There’s a nice little spot on my daily walk that someone just tosses these. I carry a bag and just pick them up but it’s still annoying (I assume it’s probably just one person that carries or drives with these and does a shot as they’re pulling in/out of my neighborhood and tosses them in the same spot)

Burning all their Great Value brand items? That’ll make me feel owned. Maybe they’ll boycott Walmart so it’s not so painful to go there.

We buy our snacks there. Chips, pretzels, microwave popcorn, cheese puffs, cookies, etc. You’re not finding Doritos for $1 (or $1.25 at Dollar Tree) but you can get a pretty decent selection of stuff. Given a bag of chips at the grocery store is usually somewhere between $4 and $6 now, we can save quite a bit.

There’s also a Death Star III that’s even bigger than the first two. I’m not that familiar with it but I think there’s a bit of back and forth with it (it’s the one from the Star Tours simulator ride at Disney from the late 80's).

Oh they’ve been terrible for  years and years but I still feel they’ve really opened up the floodgates the last few months.

How will they top the Death Star, the Death Star II (aka a bigger Death Star), Starkiller Base (aka an even bigger Death Star), and hundreds of ships with Death Star lasers (aka small Death Stars but just more of them)?

-Droids or clones with rifles that are Death Star lasers?
-Even more ships (either smaller or bigger)

It’s scary how full-fascist the GOP is going now. It’s really ramped up the last few months.

Yeah, the station we charged at both times when we first got the car (before we had the home charger installed) has 16 stalls and both times there only maybe a half dozen cars there. It’s in a shopping plaza with lots of stores and restaurants. We just plugged in and walked over to get a frozen yogurt while we waited.

That 361 mile range on the LR is pretty sweet. I wonder what real-world range is like.

I was talking with my friend the other day about how they have side mirror displays instead of outside mirrors and wondering how much they contribute to drag/affect mileage in the US. Some initial Googling says it might increase drag

I know a lot of anecdotal replies but here’s another: We’ve had an Tesla since the sale/lowered price in January and we’ve used a charger 5 times (2 of those were between when we took delivery and had the home charger installed). You’re right that we don’t really use chargers unless we are going on long trips. We did

Meh. I mean, I guess it would be okay for a backup yacht or maybe a weekend one, but not big enough for everyday yachting.

As a new Model Y owner (for about 2 months now), we just keep it at 90% unless we are going on a long trip then we go up to 100%. Once it dips below 65-70% we plug it in. Tesla recommends to ABC (Always Be Charging) and even though it’s simple and literally a 10 second task we get lazy with plugging it in every time

EVs, less, but the whole set up now that often encourages folks to leave a car in some distant no man’s corner of a mall lot and go shop will undoubtedly result in cars that are done charging but just sitting. So there would need to be a reasonable approach for this type of situation, like mark the car then if it’s

As if 1993 was 30 years ago. Holup...wait just a second. Dammit.

“I never understood wind. You know, I know windmills very much. They’re noisy. They kill the birds whales. You want to see a bird whale graveyard? Go under a windmill someday. You’ll see more birds whales than you’ve ever seen in your life.”

You didn’t think I literally spent 3 days reading articles, did you? Maybe you’re the type of person who just gets in random cars....

I’ve just seen this same story pop up multiple times so have browsed the articles for any new info or actual proof this happened. As an owner of a Model Y I’d have concerns if thieves

I’ve been reading this story for a few days now on various sites. I still think it’s BS.

1) We’re to believe his phone (which connects to the car via bluetooth) auto-magically paired with another car and set it up as a trusted device/key? Do you just walk around and your phone starts randomly pairing with nearby

I’m going to take this story with a grain of salt.

Other articles (not this one for some reason) mention the cars in both instances had to have an “end of line” fix that required the wheel to be removed to address, then reattached. Apparently they forgot a step. So doubtful it’s all of them unless whatever end of line fix they are talking about affected every car and
