Ditto. Still rocking the $7.99/month that I’m grandfathered into (for now).
So I’m not sure there’s now a reason to use Waze over Google Maps (this was really the only reason I was)? Does the reporting on one show up in the other (since they are both owned by Google)?
I dunno, the problem around here isn’t the ordering, it’s the time it takes to get people the food. I don’t think I’ve ever (or rarely) been stuck behind someone ordering with an empty lane in front of them. It’s always backed up from the delivery window. They need to quit trying to solve the issue of people ordering…
But kids yelling in the backseat, a funny sign or a someone walking a cute puppy won’t distract the computer. Nor will driving home from work after a bad day (or lack of sleep).
I too wonder how close we are to having cars not perfect, but better than us.
But I’m leeching off my parents’ add-free Hulu. Sure, I can pay $3/month but I’d get ads. Gross.

I’ll get Disney+ but not the bundle because I already pay for ad-free Hulu and don’t care about ESPN+. I agree they need good original content. I mean, I like Star Wars, the Simpsons and the MCU and other Disney properties as much as the next guy, but I tend to watch new things and not re-watch things I’ve already…
I’m sure someone at Fox News will say something like “Obama wouldn’t have the courage to attack Iran” or Ann Coulter will say calling it off makes him look weak, and given Trump’s thin skin, he will plunge us into war to try to make himself look tough to Fox News. Ugh...
That stuff is incredibly heavy and expensive. That’s roughly 13lbs for a tent, pack, bag and pad (and pillow). Ouch. You can spend a lot less and be at about 7-8lbs (which is still heavy for the big 4) and still have pretty decent gear.

You’ll see more as the 2020 election approaches. Trying to save their own skin so they don’t get dragged down with Trump. Vote them all out.
That’s only because you don’t understand the purpose of the census. It’s to measure population, not citizenship. For example (and only one), if a city is trying to estimate how many funds are going to be needed for emergency services or infrastructure, it needs to know how many people are in the area, not just…
Don’t get a LifeStraw. Invest in a Sawyer Mini or a Sawyer Squeeze for the same price or just a little more. So much better.

Maybe I missed something but the big thing in the article seems to be the automatic sorting into categories (like Dairy or Fruits/Vegetables)? How is this different than what Out of Milk does? Same with collaborative lists and stuff.
Yeah, it’s mounted like two inches on top of the door, so you just have to push the paper in and angle it up a bit to trigger it.
We have doors at work like this and we can just slide a piece of paper between them near the top to trigger the motion sensor. Very secure, but has saved me a couple of times when I’ve “locked myself out” by forgetting my badge.
If you actually read the article (gasp!), car ownership actually averages $523-$706, so this is actually about half that. You have payments, insurance, maintenance, cleaning, gas, and depending on you situation, inspection fees and parking and car registrations fees. Not to mention any potential traffic or parking…
So you’re saying they aren’t included with Prime. Just like I said.
But Prime only includes old/completed HBO stuff. No Game of Thrones or Westworld for instance, but you can get The Wire, Oz, Sopranos, Deadwood, etc.
Good idea. I use my points for XBOX Gold and XBOX Game Pass, so those are “free” for me, but I’m about a year ahead on both, so I might start using them for Hulu now...or maybe streaming movies for newer releases or something like that. I’ll have to look to see what’s available.
Also, if you set it up right it should…
The study took into account “quality” programming, regardless of whether it’s an original or not. So maybe a highly rated show like Seinfeld or something is on Hulu but not Prime. From the article: “Reelgood looked for just the 20,000 most popular shows and movies among its users, minus any that were very poorly rated…
