I even once “lost” my kid at a freaking Gymboree, which is pretty much impossible, but it was still 20 or 30 seconds of panic (which seemed like 5 minutes) until I found him hiding in a different set of playground equipment than he was in 2 seconds before disappearing. Normally that’s against your lease terms to sublet. I know my apartment complex won’t let me sublet or use it as an airbnb. If you get caught, you face eviction...obviously depending on how strict they are about it. I’d love to offer my spare bedroom but don’t want to risk losing the place.
