Maybe the P1 was genuinely that much slower with that driver. Maybe it was done for comic reasons. Honestly, it’s hard to say. It’s true that in other tests, the P1 has come out ahead (Chris Harris), but in yet more other tests, the P1 comes out behind (like the one with Pobst driving at Laguna Seca). How are you

I wouldn’t say their lap times were horrible at all - if anything, they’re almost suspiciously fast relative to Harris’s. GT ran the cars from a standing start, while Harris did a flying start, and yet the GT lap times were only 2/10 of a second slower for the 918 and LaF. The P1 being 2 seconds slower is a bit odd,

If he could really do 208, that’s faster than the majority of helicopters.

A 2007 Outback 2.5i with the 5spd manual will do 117 on dirt and 124 on pavement, GPS confirmed.

(Or so a friend told me, *cough*)

Torque doesn’t mean a damn thing with top speed. All that matters is power, gearing, rolling/driveline drag, and aero drag.
