I wish that they would have made the goalies take shots before starting over in the lineup.

I gotta say I feel like the majority of shootout-haters are sports writers and fans that don't actually play the sport.

Manning saw the field a lot in regulation. And his defense should have done something. I've never heard people complain the Rex Grossman didn't touch the ball in overtime. It's only when the top 5 guys get screwed by their defenses that anyone complains.

"The shootout is dumb and bad. It is a sideshow, a skills competition, a way to decide a hockey game that bears only the slightest resemblance to hockey. It is a poor answer to a question no one was asking."

Actually no, the Brits keep a large book (think of the White Pages) which contains all of the adults named "Bobby". Bobbys are legally obligated to assist in police business, hence them dispatching a Bobby to investigate. It's a very complex system and I marvel at its efficiency.

How'd they find them in the lake? Did I miss something in the article? They were just looking in lakes?

"It's nice, owning the only pair of gloves in North Korea."

I think directly spamming Grand Admiral Tarkin's inbox, or posting on the Imperial's Facebook page would be a good start.

I guess it all depends how the dealership handles this. Obviously they're insured for something like this, right?

Nah. Just like a Ford mechanic fixing carbon build-up, it's well know in the tie fighter community (TFSoc.com) that you need to take the beryllium drive up to 6000 rpm occasionally to clear out the 'bantha fodder' that builds up on the plasma coils. They just got a little too judicious with their throttle inputs.

Those are not TIE pilots.

LOL I had to study the picture pretty closely. It looks like Richard's coat tail makes it appear that there's another set of legs.

Should I live the rest of my life fighting the urge to buy a new RR and hopefully never actually do something that dumb or stop myself now with a ban?

So, they weren't in danger according to these lines: "The punch resulted in a cracked window, which provides no real protection for the plane or its passengers. Although no lives were in danger, it did cause a panic among Whittaker's fellow travelers"

Am I reading that the shine you get with that kit will only last for a few months? If true, that sucks...

For the record, though, that's pretty much how sports work. Is NASCAR a sport?
