I think Musk is an idiot and you gave me the evidence.

And what exactly can they do that someone in the US can’t? Why should I be more concerned with China than I am with someone that can actually affect my life?

If someone actually does that, is that the fault of the makers of Dran-O?”

Probably not, since the makers of Dran-O don’t market it as food or encourage the “challenge” of chugging it.

“Before you go jumping to conclusions about her ineptitude, Brianna Janel was actually following the rules laid out by Tesla.”

The principal to platform racists and bigots while censoring liberal voices and anyone that sneezes in a way he doesn’t like.

Excuse me Elon, I think your apartheid-era, South African roots are showing through...

A GPS device calculates its own position from satellite signals, it doesn’t have the position directly sent to it. I was aware that these satellite signals can be easily jammed, since the origin is distant, making the device inoperable or arbitrarily inaccurate, but how can they be “spoofed” ie: made to give a

If he had the capability to sell shares directly to individuals he absolutely would (maybe he shouldn’t have gone public). It would definitely command a premium to by one of “his shares” and he could just keep selling at whatever price he wants without worrying about the market tanking.

That’s an extremely misleading way to characterize Social Security. What you “pay in” to social security would accrue a ROI. If you put the same amount of money at a 5% rate of return (basically hte infation rate right now) the money would be worth double that in 14-15 years.

Another way of looking at it is if the studios don’t honor the spirit of the deal the union could be ready to strike and cost the studios millions of dollars in just a few years.

Simple - the mandatory warranty applies. That said, a *warranty* is purely for resolving manufacturing defects, not wear and tear or user damage. And the manufacturer has the option of repair or replacement. So nothing directly obligates them to provide after-sales repair services.

Musk is gonna get us all killed because of his mishandling of twitter long before the “Singularity” will happen.

There are 30 un-indicted co-conspirators, so I assume Lindsey flipped like a circus acrobat and that’s the list he’s in.

The attention whore paid $44 billion for Twitter so he could attention whore to his little hearts delight. Twitter now worth only $15 billion. So basically Elon just paid $29 billion for attention... sounds really desperate to me!

I never dreamed I’d be Team Zuckerberg in anything.

The funny thing is that it was ChatGPT that suggested it.

If I’m going to see an ad (which is another topic), I would much rather see ads that I would want to see. Give me ads for tech gizmos, or non-mobile games, or food. I will very rarely click on an ad, but often they give me an idea of something I may want.

Given the number of amateur telescopes pointed at the sky, it is most likely that the government would have to learn of a visitor from the public, not the other way around. Even if a government facility saw it first, a few dozen amateurs would see it before the government got their cover story in place.

People who have been brainwashed definitely always know they’ve been brainwashed.
