Bumpers that actually allow you to “bump” stuff without inflicting $3k+ in damage.
All well and good until you want to roll down any window other than the driver’s. I love being able to drop all four windows in my car from one door-mounted cluster.
Excellent outward visibility - thin pillars, low cowl, low beltline, etc.

Agreed. Not only have I never had electric windows break down, but the ability to roll down all the windows from the driver’s seat is a godsend.
Physical buttons, for the love of god, a button that does the thing you want it to do is so much better than navigating an infotainment menu or a nontactile touch button.
The price or both new and used cars used to be soooo much lower, even just last year...

No screens. Ive had enough of them. I strightforward, simple cars with switchgear.
Is size a feature? SUVs/CUVs/Trucks are too damn big.
Rain gutters. Even if you don't smoke (yuck) some people like to crack the windows. Can't do it without a constant stream of water coming in.
Bumpers that are separate from the rest of the body panels and are made to actually bump into things. My first car was a 1986 VW Scirocco that had magnificent black-rubber bumpers. A few minor fender-benders and bumps (I was a typical teenage driver and definitely learned a lot with that car) and you could never tell.…
