Yeah. I mean ideally someone would have intervened, either with an abortion or SOME sort of options for this woman when she clearly stated that she didn’t want to go through with the pregnancy TO THE STAFF who apparently just ignored her?

Well in my scenario nobody is letting the ‘dr’ decide. They are letting the mother decide.
No, I think they shouldn’t have resuscitated. I’ve answered this a few times now. I am talking about intervention with the born child. Not with the mother. I think that the mother required medical assistance, yes, which is why my intial comment here was that they should have “completed the abortion” which would…
I sincerely do not know why you are making this point to me.
Now now there’s no need to try and patronise me.
Obviously I am specifically talking about the availability of abortion and not euthanasia. So your question to me here is moot.
They had to resussitate. It did not “come out breathing”.
I’m actually not the person talking about whether the trauma should affect viability. Simply responding to someone that said this was an issue of premature birth rather than trauma. I am sure it was trauma. The specific kind, no.
No I would have completed the abortion, and there would be no baby, and so no suffering. I think I’ve made that pretty clear.
Listen, I’m going to stop engaging here, because I don’t feel like people are being particularly logical about this.
There is literally no point running these circles here.
Hard to know. The police report uses the extremely loaded word “saved” when referring to the medical procedure to prevent death, so it’s not clear how the foetus was removed
I agree with you, yes.
Yeah. Abortion is, obviously, a complicated ethical issue but when it’s compounded by the lack of interest in proper social services for children that are born either unwanted or disabled it moves into no-brainer territory for me.
The problem with the waiting periods in certain areas is also that there are non supportive, Christian ‘health clinics’ that pretend they will terminate pregnancies, but in fact continue to manufacture delays until the foetus would be considered viable and so the abortion is ultimately illegal.
I don’t feel I am the one being rude, honestly.
Shame on me? LOL.
Migrant and migratory do not, like... mean the same thing?
WOW. What a fuckbag. That is all.
Stupid is as stupid does (hint hint).
