My coworker has the Sonata. It’s garbage. Why on earth would someone want to buy a $30k Hyundai?

Exactly my point. Most Hyundai customers bought one because that was all that they could afford or be qualified for and it was just “ok”. Now that their prices have increased there is no good reason to want to own such an inferior product.

They are junk. They depreciate more so than their competitors as well as they are the inferior product.

Nope, still to this day, Hyundai’s target market is the poor and those with bad credit. They offer inferior products and financing for those with bad credit. They make their spread off of volume production and high interest rates. Once their costs go up or valuation of money drops, their model doesn’t work so well.

Why would they? Their target market is the poor. Inferior products sell when the economy is down. Once the economy picks up consumers, who have the ability to pay, migrate back to preferred brands.

I think they give them away to Medicaid and food stamp recipients already! I mean, who in the hell wants to buy one? Let alone a “luxury” Hyundai, Wal-Mart middle management?

That’s my take away. I’m surprised that they have so many annual sales. Their cars are inferior prices of junk. I can’t believe that they would have repeat customers coming back after owning one.

Nope. Hyundai’s are cheap knockoffs of their far superior rivals. Buy the Subaru, as bad as the Subaru’s interior is, it is miles ahead of the Hyundai’s cheap plastics.

Hyundai’s are inferior products and will sell better during a weak economy. Now that the economy is bouncing back consumers want their preferred products and not just cheap imitations thereof.
