Weird question, but was there an embargo placed on US press reporting on the RS7 until now? After Frankfurt it seemed that all of the European outlets were reporting on the RS7, but nothing in the US, and then today I’m finally seeing some reporting on it in the US.

The taillights are most similar to an Evoke, which has been due fro a refresh. My guess is this is a new four door evoke coupe, but they are throwing in some back-hinged rear doors a la Mazda RX-8/Honda Element, since it makes the back seats so much more useable to get in and out of.
