Everything shows with silk, but if you can find a nice breeze, you’re dry again in 60 seconds. It could be quite the show;)

Showing through the dress, I guess? Like when it’s hot and you’re sitting down for dinner? I’ve never worn a silk dress but it’s something I’ve always been wondering.

I am not surprised in the least that this doctor is a woman. FGM is often insisted upon by the women who have themselves endured it. I’m no fan of Ayaan Hirsi but she is clear that her father opposed the procedure, and her grandmother secreted her away from the home to undergo it. As well as another case profiled on

:(

True story from a “low-key” bride who spent <$300 on her dress. When I first saw my sister-in-law after the ceremony she said—“You look so...comfortable.”

Yes! I just reread it and also gave it to a young woman who lives with us. She voted for Trump and was in tears after reading it. Good. I’m glad it scared the shit out of her.

Also, for some strange reason, an adaptation of a Canadian Novel by a Canadian Author filmed in Toronto is not available in Canada.

It was 2002. Attitudes towards homosexuality have changed dramatically. It is very evident when you look at early seasons of survivor where contestants used terminology and talk about it in ways that would never fly anymore.

Shit man I’d shake my bosses hand if she said I would continue to get paid but don’t have to come into work anymore and I love my job too. I just love my bed and cats a little more.

He also had this little chestnut:

I think it reflects the kind of conversations that are going on behind the scenes with Bannon et al. Assad is worse that Hitler! Because Assad went after innocent people! Spicy isn’t making this shit up.

I myself prefer his subtle insistence that the real difference is that Assad killed “innocent” people, unlike those people in the Holocaust Centers who know what they did.

I love the sequence of events for that retaliatory strike too:

Yeah.. the “Well, it’s not like when you drop gas on innocent people”..

Exactly what I was about to comment. He can “clarify” all he wants, but his words betrayed him. I also notice that both in his verbal garbage during the presser and in his clarification, he mentions that Assad dropped gas on “innocent people,” which really seems to be implying that the use of gas during the holocaust

Intentional or not, it further shows this Administration has pushed what many refer to as “soft” or “softcore” Holocaust Denial. “Not his own people” is a frightening statement about what the Nazis did that is historically inaccurate but more important, pushes the actual Nazi idea that Jews within the German borders

It’s the “his own people” that’s most telling. At a subconscious, gut-belief level, Spicer doesn’t consider Jewish Germans and Austrians to be Germans and Austrians, i.e. Hitler’s people. He considers them wholly Other in a way that is analogous to Hitler’s own Othering of Jews, gays, Communists, dissenters, etc.

Let’s not miss the fact that he seems to differentiate the Jewish men, women, and children killed in “holocaust centers” from “innocents” killed by Assad.

I don’t think what he said was on purpose but I truly believe that Sean Spicer and the people he works for do not regard those killed during the Holocaust as victims. he unintentionally voiced the thoughts of those who subscribe to White Hate ideology.

It’s like watching a monkey hump a football.
