$44,400 a year is a lot of money for tires.

This Sandusky story just won’t die.

yeah, I know. It’s a great little engine. I’m just a little disappointed because, while I have zero interest in owning a rotary vehicle, I will admit that they’re quirky. And when you’re driving a Ford Cortina painted like a little red wagon, you might as well go maximum quirk.

You’re correct.

If I do this with BMW, will they bring a wagon without xDrive?

Dag you missed the entire point of the scorpion story. The scorpion stings the frog when they are halfway across the river. The frogs turns to the scorpion and says “Why would you do that, now we both going to drown “, the scorpion shrugs and says “Its just my nature”. The point is the frog foolishly believed the

Christ, you’re like the guy last week telling me it’s ok to drive your WRX like a rally car because “pedigree” but then bitching about blowing up transmissions when driven as such.

It’s a sporty commuter car that has almost nothing in common with a rally spec car other than drivetrain layout and branding.

I think the argument for regarding Autopilot with a bit of caution isn’t weakened by pointing out that two of the three Autopilot involved fatalities were human error, but rather strengthened instead. Because the beef with Autopilot isn’t that it’s a lousy autonomous system - it’s great at what it’s supposed to be

Of course, it’s not his fault he died.

The Tesla system can not detect stationary objects at speed.

And Tesla can’t wait years for the NTSB to issue a formal finding, while Tesla’s image gets trashed in the process.

Sounds like NTSB should get over themselves. It’s not like releasing information compromises their investigation in any way.

“it is among the oldest cars he has ever driven”
