Why is it so difficult for you to understand that they picked ~600 cases out of ~36000 overdoses, and that they selected the individuals where there is the most direct link from the single prescribed drug to an overdose death?

I will bet that they are focusing on the deaths where there is little noise confusing the cause of death. This lawsuit covers a couple of decades and this lawsuit focuses on ~1% of the opioid OD’s in the state. They were able to pick and choose, and I hope that they picked the ones with no complicating factors.
