Good! If the supermarkets didn’t see this coming then shame on them.
I don’t want to ring up my own groceries. It is almost always slower than having a cashier even when there isn’t something in my order that sets the red assistance light flashing.

Didn’t that thief Hennessey already do this, just with a V10 from a different donor?
Whenever I’m in CA, I am shocked at the number of cars with no plates or running with the cardboard plates from the dealership (just dealership logo - not temp plates like some states).
The complete lack of effort the state puts into getting plate in cars makes me think this isn’t worth adding easily hackable ugly…
No question about it. If I were going into court depending on a public defender I’d rather be white.
Race is a definite disadvantage in our ‘justice’ system. But there is no denying that money is a definite advantage.
No disagreement there. I’d rather be wealthy and bet on my money saving me than be broke and white and hoping my skin color does.
Few is the right word for the rich white people who find themselves prosecuted. Many people were prosecuted over the savings and loan scandal in the 80's. Nobody was prosecuted for the last crash - even though it was more criminal and more damaging.
In the courts, money has the final say in how well you are treated. I would rather be a Oprah facing a felony charge than a homeless white man charged with a misdemeanor.
I think it relies heavily on crashes to generate excitement. This year, there were few retirements and they happened in places where the disabled cars did not present an obstruction to race traffic.
This is such a ripoff of the insurgent.
Not anymore. You’re now transphobic if you are a straight man who will not date a trans woman.
I believe that is a young Jimmy Carter.
He spent a long time not implicating himself. Nobody came to him with names or dates, just vague rumors in the hopes that he would fill in the details.
Yes. One of the women told him essentially to f-off and he was embarrassed, apologized and ran off.
I’m glad you survived. I lost three friends in separate incidents who all would have survived if they had been wearing seatbelts. I also still have my sister who was in a high speed rollover accident and would have at least suffered devastating injuries without her seatbelt.
On the IIHS’s test, I assume the steering degrees represent the rotation of the steering wheel, right?
If so, is it possible to tweak the steering ratio to make a vehicle more likely to pass, or is there some standard for steering ratio in Europe?
I ran into the same thing car shopping last year. The manual transmissions are offered on only the lower trim levels if they’re offered at all.
I do. I’m not sure how relevant I find them for cars, but for other things around the home they are a good resource. I haven’t seen a car review of theirs in a while. I was reading one a few years ago and the review seemed to make a very big deal about cup holders. I realized they were not the people to review cars…
I have never been this upset.
We’ll see what the court says, but Ford’s agreement may be worthless.
Automakers selling in the US are already following two separate standards and have been for decades since 1/3 of the new cars or more are delivered to CARB states.
