I know that’s how they want to market it, but how realistic is that market segment?

“they claimed that most commutes were around 27 miles per day”
Yes it does, but for some reason it stands out more when it’s something like an early X5 (I’m sure yours is in good shape, but most of the ones I see are barely roadworthy) or this blackwood or an Escalade it seems a lot more obvious.
Strange exception is the H2. The few of those I still see always look like they were…
It seems like this recall is fumbled at every possible opportunity from Takata to the NHTSA to the manufacturers and dealers.
Same here. I only find three recalls that were completed (brake lines and two ecu flashes), but nothing related to airbags.
I am curious about snowbirds. There are plenty of people who keep a home up north and also in Florida. They may keep their vehicles registered in Maine, but the vehicles spend the summers in Maine and the rest of the year in FL.
My car has the bad inflators. My area is not zoned for replacement.
Autotrader has around 250 2002 Ford F150's for $8000 or less right now.
I agree, but the people who bought them thought they were buying status.
So after digging up my VIN and checking some websites, it turns out that I am driving a car with shotgun blast inflators. But the TSA or Takata or some other experts have determined that my inflators turn into death bombs x years after they’ve been in service, so I can just wait.... and keep checking back in.
I own a 2009 Outback. According to the Subaru recall information, it is not included in the recall. According to NHTSA it is.
How are people supposed to react?
Euro = Germany = VAG
Second Gear:
It counts negatively. It’s like seeing someone in an early ML. There’s something sadder about the try hard vehicles than just a normal vehicle of the same age.
I saw one of these in traffic last week and remembered just what a stupid vehicle it is.
I understand that, but they don’t even discuss the time Edd puts into a project even without discussing what that time would be worth.
If this is going to be GLA-ish, I don’t think I’m interested. I would probably prefer a higher-end model from a lower-end brand. You’ll probably get a lot more equipment with a lot fewer check marks on the option sheet and possibly better materials.
Of course it ended in a fight. I’m surprised it didn’t end with all the drivers throwing their own poop at one another.
I love my pre-lit tree. It’s a narrow model that is full height but significantly narrower at the base than anything in nature so it takes up les space. It is a convenience thing.
