Tough room.
Tough room.
I knew about the GT. There were a few running around here for a while. One of them had wood paneled sides.
I missed that part (obviously). I was too hung up on the idea of the state varying the toll every six minutes.
I don’t believe I could live any reasonable life on a single full time job at ~$8/hr. That’s $1280 monthly. I don’t think that would cover half of a one bedroom apartment around here after taxes and I am not in the city.
That’s still expensive if you’re splitting it with the others in a car pool. Not shocked, though. VA is one of the shittier states to drive through.
I hadn’t even realized there was a restyle. I really liked them when they first came out, but I rented a few that had not held up well to life in the fleet and that colored my opinion of them.
I’m guessing the oppressive property taxes gave it away. It’s true in true most places.
I can never bring myself to buy quality cordless tools... which is why I’m re-buying them every couple of years.
After hearing these cars run a race course, I don’t know if they’d even be exciting drifting.
Benny, can I ask you why you drive a PT Cruiser? I’m not trying to be insulting, I’m just trying to understand.
Now that’s something you really shouldn’t be asking strangers on the internet.
What are you talking about? Everyone knows that BC is known for its high concentration of Howard Johnson’s restaurants. I thought he may have been getting confused with HoJos.
I said hoBos.
There were certainly plenty of carbureted sedans traded in for smaller SUVs. (Yep, I acknowledge this has nothing to do with my claim about Camrys or PT Cruisers) It wasn’t that long ago, pretty much everything on dealer lots at the time was SUVs.
People are driving to the recycling center? Sounds like Canada needs more hobos.
I’m glad your club operated like that. I know that the club I tend to associate with that was organizing the C&C has a very strict no asshole policy. They are the only club I will go on any runs with because I know nobody’s going to be stupid and I’m not likely to end up by the side of the road with 30 other cars…
As a former Scion owner (two time offender - xB and FR-S), I have to say scion groups are the worst.
In the Great Depression, the government spent money paying people to build great smooth new roads.
I don’t know if it took PT Cruisers off the road. I suspect their owners just drove them into the woods and left them there. I think C4C had some rules about the fuel economy of the outgoing vehicle vs the fuel economy of the new vehicle.
Tesla seems to pay alright (although I have no idea of the living costs in the area). I was thinking about other shitty companies with workers who are strongly discouraged to organized and strongly encouraged to get food stamps - like WalMart.
