Yep, I’m a pretty small person and I try to stick to this rule. I have driven after two but I feel uncomfortable doing so even though I should be fine. I’m always amazed at how many drinks some of my friends will have and feel comfortable driving home; they might not be acting drunk but still.

I still have a nano with the clickwheel and I love it. I never liked the touchscreen because you can’t feel your way into changing songs when driving or running.

I’m going as a leopard which is kind of boring but I am excited to make spots on my face with big eye pencils and glitter!

My parents weirdly were totally okay with seven year old me watching Titanic (I wasn’t allowed to watch R rated movies until I was 17, so...) and I LOVED IT. It is the only movie we all saw in the theater together, at least that I recall. I had had the sex talk but I didn’t really get what sex was so I didn’t

YASSS FELLOW CLICKWHEEL LOVER.

O rly? I mean, I find veggie hot dogs to taste SUSPICIOUSLY like normal hot dogs because hot dogs are a weird product no matter what goes into them. I will trust you for my sanity.

I miss that clickwheel. :(

I hate this report. It doesn’t come out and say which veggie dogs didn’t contain meat. I guess it’s implied if they are on the “clear list”. Also, recommending Trader Joe’s is annoying because those aren’t exactly found everywhere.

I mean, kind of expensive. I paid a $20 copay for the tube that will last a long time at once a week.

You think Retin-A alone is going to have that dramatic of an effect when used once a week (my current recommended regimen)? I didn’t see anything about Retin-A producing results that drastic. However, the older (50s? I don’t know) assistant did gleefully tell me that she has been using it since 30 and her face looked

Gotta perfect some weird pose that blocks them. Elbows in, thumbs up. Arms crossed, upper body twisted to the side. Take off your shoe and hold it in front of them like a running prop. ...I’m out of ideas.

I looked this up recently because of an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm and I was finding a lot saying it does not reduce your life expectancy.

Yep, absolutely. Part of me thinks that he was a less difficult adolescent than I was so that particular thing is not on his mind. I also think about having to raise the kid alone if something happened to him and whether I’m willing/prepared to do that. Hard conversations are hard.

Not sure why you lumped Retin-A with botox and fillers. It sounds like you’re making a judgement about people getting too much plastic surgery?

Yah, I know all this because I read the packet (I actually do that!). I am supposed to use it once per week and build up. I was overly ambitious and did it twice in one week and my face informed me not-kindly that it was too soon. I also think I got too much sun exposure.

My friend once told me to sort of...bounce when you see the camera. She always has good photos!

But do you get out your cell phone and start chatting? I volunteered at a marathon/half marathon and I totally understand needing to walk some of it, but that really got me.

I have small boobs and I think I just have pointy nipples so I understand that annoyance. I shouldn’t care, but I do.

What??? Why dq for touching goggles?

Wetsuits are only allowed in certain temps. I raced in a sports bra and swim shorts a couple of times because the race was short enough to not demand padding on the bike. You can get tri shorts and wear a sports bra for the top, perhaps?
