UF for undergrad, FSU for grad. Gator for life though (I’m assuming you, too, given your Baby Gator reference).

Ooh my running shoes are Asics and I like them a lot so I might grab a pair of these for casual wear.

The Target line or general Lilly? I mean, yeah, it’s way more than I’d spend on a dress, but it’s not SO prohibitive as to get snooty about who can afford it. It’s all silly.

I survived 4th grade through my now doctoral program (16 years) in Florida schools juuuuuust fine. She’ll probably be totally okay!

WHOA WHOA ARE YOU FROMFROM IMPERIAL POLK COUNTY? Also, I hope this is true because I am convinced stupid shit happens everywhere. However, FL does have a big population so it makes statistical sense that we’ll have more crazy.

I was at a soccer game as a player and dude kept arguing with me that I was wearing lipstick (in middle school and he was in high school) when I definitely was not. My mom told me this was ~flirting. I thought it was weird.

I can see it being a compliment but I also just usually don’t think the dresses usually look that good on the people wearing it (doesn’t fit quite right, weird coloring for the person, etc).

Yeah, that’s how I feel. They don’t seem to be worth the high prices, but the price gives status.

They are sorority girl chic in Florida.

I like a couple of the prints sometimes, but usually I think the clothes don’t look that great (definitely not $400 great). Put the prints on makeup bags, towels, etc.? Sure. But still not for so much money.

Ah no. We got checks.

A friend of mine posted on Facebook that this shows that Pulitzer is the brand all girls want but all can’t afford. Vomit.

Yes yes. So it could’ve been worse.

Ah. Yeah I don’t remember if I ever had my wages adjusted. It’s been many years. Some owners might be better though.

Interesting. I don’t think our tips were ever stolen, just sometimes redistributed.

This might be franchise specific.

I mean, I ultimately made above the non tipped minimum after we calculated in tips. Still screwy.

Florida. I do not know if it’s standard practice.

Florida. We were tipped employees making above tipped minimum. I made $6/hr + tips. Obviously not all customers tipped, etc. but we did make above minimum with tips. They did some screwy stuff with the tip splitting to make up for slower shifts I think.

...his campaign? Jeez. But yeah, we still sang so we did end up taking home more than minimum.
