I had so much of an easier time learning LoL than DOTA 2. The bot practice matches really help out. On the same hand, I have not played DOTA 2 since they fleshed out the tutorials.

There is a bit of a learning curve, but you can start on easy and it is not too bad. There are lots of good guides online. If you stick with it, the game is very rewarding, and since it is a rogue-like, you can always restart!

Man, Gravity wasn't that great of a movie, but is was entertaining in 3D. The real things that got to me were all the relative heights of debris, satellites, etc.

Honestly the vast majority of my experiences with LoL have been great. Some people are assholes or don't play well with others, but I rarely see outright virulent hate speech. LoL has a great system for reporting that can actually impact players abilities to play. DOTA2 on the other hand.... /cry
