I just didn't like the show after the departure of you know who.

The show sounded awful just from the description, stuff like this usually leads to lots of copycats.
The latest episode of Last Week Tonight was not showing up in my HBO Now menu so I started searching around the menu and chose the "Late Night" option and found out where they put the soft core porn from the 90's. Didn't realize people still watch this with all the free porn on the interwebs.
Ride my bike on the Stanford campus a few times a year and the show version was close enough for me, don't expect them to film anything except establishing shots at places in Silicon Valley.
It seemed better after I watched the Veep finale.
Mike Judge has some comments about TJ Miller's exit.

Kind of disappointed now that they missed the obvious play on 7 Years in Tibet.
She's is really funny in Angie Tribeca, but almost every one on there is playing the Leslie Nielsen character, including the dog.
Netflix mistakenly classified it as Gay/Lesbian for a while.
I re watched The Thing recently and I totally forgot about the chest cavity turning into hands and I jumped, also that the Kurt Russell character kills two non infected people when he's trying to figure out how to tell the difference.
My Netflix DVD queue gave me Get Out which was pretty good and Rogue One which was great for fan service, but a bit uneven in spots. Got impatient and just binged GLOW, that was enjoyable.
If that's your kink, Brie Larson sits on stuff for money in United States of Tara.
It's not a joke machine like Unbreakable Kimmie Schmidt, it's more a short form drama with some wry humor. I've only watched this episode, though, and am not familiar with the real story behind GLOW.
The repurposing of the Cat on a Hot Tin Roof monologue was pretty good.
The issue with a shows based on real people who are still alive is one has to get the real people to agree to the portrayal. Masters of Sex had this problem, the kids objected so they had to make up fake children with boring show of the week fake stories to replace the real Johnson kids.
I didn't realize one can airbrush video. In the first episode Bilquis goes from having visible texture on her face pre-sex absorption to having a very smooth face post absorption - is that what you are talking about?
The showrunners talked about bringing the book to TV and said they had to expand the female roles because they didn't want to make a show mostly about just men.

You need to accept the book and show as two different things or stop watching if you hate it so much.
Which scene? In the first episode it seemed fine to me. In this episode when she absorbs everyone in the orgy, it seems like they shot it half darkened to not expose the actress to having her legs spread on camera.
Plus there was so much vocalization in the first "absorption" they showed it seems like people outside the bus would hear the racket inside the bathroom.
How did you get this comment past the Great Internet Firewall of China?
