His voice was instantly recognizable, the rest of him not so much.

Just rewatched They Live last night and a lot of the action sequences (obviously barring the five minute fight scene) look pretty badly choreographed. The storyline and theme were still pretty pertinent even though it was a commentary on Reagan and the yuppie era.

He was more likeable than the main character in that other HBO comedian show, Pete whatever.

Totally agree with your assessment and I watched every episode. There are some good performances but a lot of the jokes fall flat for me, and it's not like Kimmie Schmidt where it doesn't matter if a joke doesn't work for me because there are so many jokes that it doesn't have to hit it out of the park with every one.

I live in California and would prefer anybody to "I don't believe in single payer" Pelosi getting re-elected. The Senate should not be a lifetime job, and she'll be at least 84 when the next election rolls around.

His approval rating is 38-39 percent because his approval rating among the GOP is still close to 90%. That the bar that has to be lowered before the GOP does anything. Protests make the news but it's not a threat to Senate/House seats.

Nick Frost is a lot of fun to watch on season 2 of Into the Badlands.

Haven't read the book, do you agree with Emily Browning's reading of the character in the book?

Thank you for clarifying what probably seemed like a stupid question - I saw the coin getting sucked in but *missed* Mad Sweeney finding the hole in the lid of the coffin, was probably answering the phone or something.

Amy Brennemen says the finale is satisfying. I'm willing to wait to evaluate their choices.
In this interview she explains the if it's suicide at the ending of the episode which you have interpreted the ending to mean http://www.thedailybeast.co…

Yes, that's right.
