I was thinking along those lines while watching Catastrophe season 3, a purported comedy that has on super serious plot line that disrupts the other plots all season long. I got plenty of this particular plot on every other drama. Then you see Carrie Fisher and start bawling.
I wonder how they did the explosion on the street that caused all the glass in the coffee shop to shatter? Was that all special fx?
OK, the show can surprise you, but it sort of writes itself into a plot corner, every season after the first two.
Her brother's something or other judging from the weird interviews he's given since then.
It may be corny but I still get a thrill when Uhtred says "Destiny is all." on the intro to each week of The Last Kingdom.
Six Feet Under and Hannibal - squee!
Yeah, a lot less laughs after they burn down a town.
Just got the Netflix DVD for Whiskey Tango Foxtrot for Tina Fey and the AV club review is right on the money, not that great. But at least I learned one thing, that Mohammed made it a requirement that Muslims shave their pubic hair (under arms and down there) and this is why the Taliban use a dowel to measure pubic…
Was it just me or was anyone else reminded of Jeff Sessions by the judge?
Just one tiny note that I appreciate that they show Offred knowing and being careful to support the newborn baby's head during the transfer to the hands of the wicked witch looking friend of the "mother" but even I know to do that and I'm a middle aged man who has not taken care of a baby in 30 something years so it's…

He's listed in the credits as narrator, so yes.
Giancarlo Esposito.
Fishbone still tours, I think I heard an ad for them live somewhere in the last year in California.
The color was slightly off on my TV so I was an idiot and thought that was excrement so I couldn't figure out why she would doubly soil the tampon.
I've never seen that performance but her they toy with your expectations. It's like Omar, Michael K. Williams in 12 Years a Slave.
Honestly it was so dark I'm not sure I want to watch any more. Specifically, Rob's alcoholism just ruins it for me. YMMV.
I watched it and it's well made and it made me hate both of the main characters by the end. I don't know how true to life it is but the decline in the heatlh and relationship of the two main characters seems inevitable from the current trajectory, and not sure I have the stomach to watch any more of it.
There are some slight spoilers here, you should not read this if you want to stay unspoiled because it points out differences already in the three episodes sent to reviewers:
