Can they also add a pre-board for misanthropes? Asking for a friend...

Came here to say the exact same thing! Early boarding is just prolonging one’s suffering.

6 days in labor is not normal...is it? I’m all for people doing what they want to their bodies but suffering for almost a week straight is just insane to me.

How long before Lindsey Graham throws his hateful, shithead hat in the ring?

Voted at lunchtime. I was happy to see a mom with her teenage boys making them learn how voting works (seriously she was explaining how ballot machines work, how third parties/many candidates can end up splitting votes, etc.). Apparently her kids will be old enough to vote for the 2020 election. Whatever gets the

I’ve been slightly encouraged by the number of commenters on Splinter calling out their ridiculous “I’m not inspired so why should I bother voting?” asinine posts. I’m an (older) millennial and that site makes me hate my own generation.

Yep. Right here with you. Gin and CBD gummies will be my go-to tomorrow evening.

I used to have levalbuterol in my neb until my insurance forced me to switch to albuterol (basically said they won’t cover because albuterol is cheap). So it may be a cost issue for why they didn’t give you a Xopenex neb solution. Good luck! I’ve been down that road myself - jittery as hell with only a moderate improve

Oh, FFS! I’m so sick of these “Meh, voting is sooo hard you guys! I just don’t FEEL INSPIRED. Let’s just smugly complain while accomplishing nothing instead.” articles. Like car inspections or routine medical screenings, not everything important is fun. People need to grow the fuck up.

I totally agree. I loved it growing up but it really didn’t age well (or perhaps I got old and could no longer relate to it). It’s a time capsule of 90's angst and it just makes me cringe now. Some songs still hold up though.

Bowers...told a SWAT team member after surrendering that he wanted all Jews to die because they were committing “genocide” against his “people.”

Thank you! My elder Millennial ass is really fucking sick of this “we need to be inspired” bullshit. We don’t need flashy motivational speakers, we need nerds that can get the job done. Obama was a rare combination of charisma and competence. If you sit around waiting for a JFK or an Obama every election you are

Honestly? Push him out the cabin door regardless.  Saves everyone a lot of time and effort.

It’s like liberals don’t want to win elections with the way they routinely eat their own. By all means, let’s keep writing unnecessary think pieces on this shit. It’s not like we are fighting to save our democracy or anything?

Combine male entitlement with some white privilege and decades of emotional constipation and that about sums it up.

But then they would actually have to do their jobs and possibly revise their biased opinions...so, yeah, it probably would kill them.

Would it have been at all productive for her to discuss the evils of the Bush administration when all they were talking about was a cough drop transaction? She was on the Today Show, not Rachel Maddow. She’s not trying to give Repubs ammunition to rally their dumbass base for the midterms.  So she gets along with the

All she essentially said was she likes the guy as a person. She didn’t go on to defend his horrible presidency. Nothing she said here absolves him of that. You’ve never had a co-worker that you could enjoy being around socially but knew they were incompetent at their job?

So is this Jezebel’s shit on every famous woman (even the ones helping progressives) week?  First Taylor Swift, now Michelle Obama. This feels like complaining just for the sake of complaining at this point.

This is sadly true. I really want to see a female POTUS in my lifetime but I don’t have that kind of faith in human decency prevailing over misogyny right now (particularly when you factor in the Electoral College). Maybe the midterms will change my mind.
