This nice Autocar article today reminded me that the 1988 Peugeot Oxia was a thing. A mix of Group B and Group C racers, it packed a 2.8-liter twin-turbo V6 good for 680 horsepower. Also it had a built-in personal computer with a keyboard AND A FLOPPY DISK DRIVE to control the A/C.

this comment is slightly lacking in Pantera.

DeTomaso Pantera.

How about one of the factory supercharged AW11s? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Toyota-MR2…

Mid-engine plus linear boost wrapped in fantastic ‘80s angularity (don’t call it boxiness). Sure, it’s not a lot of power, but this one seems pretty clean and it’s currently less than half the budget.

E55 AMG . Usually listed for around $10k-$16k.

Do you mean he got more man2man action because he had a TT?

Give me a code reader and the internet there is nothing I can’t handle on a German car.

There’s never a bad time to post this Arroyo commercial.

Fuck you. Pootie Tang is awesome.

I was angry before I even clicked thru to the article. Then I read this

I have two for the list, though not sure how they’ll stack up against others here:

It would be nice if the league could step in and, say, suspend/fine the “Me Me Me!” umpires in the league when they go off on their short fuse tangents, in the same way players are.... but that’s just silly talk, I guess. Everyone knows we’re there to see the umpires umpire, and the rest is just shit that’s in the way.
