05 STI owner. I’d go with the Golf R. They are popping up used in mid-twenties with stage 1 and 2 APR already installed. Stage 2 adds 100hp at the wheels to the Golf R.

5k launches on this? Check engine lights? AWD issues? They had issues with their shakedown RS cars when the engineers brought them to the US as well. Not that they shouldn’t. Why do a shakedown if they are going to be flawless? But going from Haldex to Twinster in 18 months is f’n scary.
Sportsmanship classes should be part of the curriculum not reactionary punishment. I don’t recall ever being taught any meaningful levels of sportsmanship (20+ years removed from high school sports).
