I was at a farm and watched a guy hose down a Nissan Altima engine bay while it was running. He sprayed EVERYTHING with a garden hose. I walked over and watched in amazement as gallons of water poored over the entire motor including the alternator. The car never so much as made a hiccup. The belts screached a bit when

I am not an expert but I don’t see cam pulleys or the covers typical for a 2JZ (first picture).

Very nice start to the week.

Love that video. I used my ‘05 STi to put in and take out our boat for two seasons. It is a 17ft fiberglass inboard outboard Wellcraft tri-hull.

Thanks! She’s my project. Always has been. Always will be.

Ideally, Cayenne Twin Turbo and STi. I should know. Feel free to LOL at my Merkur.

Anderson Silva has gotten rusty. Geesh.

Impact Blue GT350 with Black Stripe (with white). Looks sinister.

I voted crack pipe but someone will buy it at that price. We had the Dodge Mirada (affectionately referred to as the Ma-la-la) when I was 15. Dad bought it for $400, it was primered so we took it straight to Earl Scheib for a quick spray. It looked like my 12 year old brother had masked and sprayed it with a rattle

The ability to tighten bolts accurately is called “Torque Wrist”.

SRT8 pricing is high. I ended up in a Cayenne Turbo for cheaper ($27k short-term anyway) when I cross-shopped SRT8 Jeeps. Carmax wanted something crazy like $34k and offered me $5k on a Freestyle with the same miles.

What did you think of Jalopnik Video Week One?

Well yeah but I meant intake manifold.

Ha! Spark plugs. I recently spoke to a mechanic at a shop that specializes in Subaru tuning (mine was on the dyno). When I asked the mechanic what was his least favorite thing to do he answered “Spark plugs.”

Sweet ride. Not often we the monkey gush.

I took XR4Ti for a drive Saturday. It was glorious. 24 psi. Open wastegate. 7500 rpm rev limiter. I’d forgotten what it was like to drive. The boost hit on a single OHC with fixed timing is fantastic. And like any Merkur I’ve owned she dropped an oil puddle the size of a dinner plate when I parked it in the driveway.
