I signed an NDA. When you’re traumatized you sign for closure so that you can stop the drama....stop the pain...stop all the legal fees... to move on with your life. It’s a coercive experience.

When someone does something egregious whether it’s sexual harassment and/or abuse or some other terrible thing... and they get away with it... the likelihood of them repeating it or doing other terrible things is high. Weinstein is an example of this.

It’s unfortunate that so many women were impacted by him and I’m sorry nothing was done sooner.... but it’s so interesting to see the stories. He had a lot of similar strategy. When an abuser gets away with it.... they (very likely) repeat the behavior.

This made me look up Harry Anderson... he apparently left LA around 2000.... “Irish goodbye”style. He moved to New Orleans where he met his second wife- a bartender. They did a bunch of hurricane Katrina charity and then moved to Asheville, NC. Seems like a good guy.

Taking something that isn’t yours (that you feel entitled to) and not feeling regret or shame when someone calls you out.... she’s on the personality disorder spectrum. That’s not normal

If it’s normalized for you to see a drunk, hurt, non-responsive person on the floor and you make no effort to help them.... you have a pretty serious empathy problem. For a group to ignore him... that’s intentional.
