I started reading Jez in 2008, a year after I started my personal blog. Somewhere down the line I wrote abt my period & obsession with the change in OB Ultra tamps. My friend said, "You should really send this to Dodai." I immediately said I was not worthy, but I nervously sent an email. A day later my period &

Dodai, your posts are the reason I have continued to read Jezebel throughout the last several years. The site simply won't be the same without you. Lots of luck at your new job!

Thank you for being just the most wonderful, talented, encouraging, and real. Also, I thought you would enjoy these search results.

I was going to post a bunch of sad gifs but it was making me sad looking for them so in your honor I'm posting hot dudes:

OMG I can't believe I forgot to mention LOLVogue.

IMPORTANT

You need to do catalog reviews SOMEWHERE. Those were my favorite.

Dodai, when I first started at Jezebel, I felt so fortunate to work alongside you because I had long been an admirer of your work and now, three years later, I feel even more fortunate because I get to call you one of my best friends. Thank you for everything. But also F U for leaving.

Dodai, thank you for all of your contributions at Jez. Seeing you as a WoC leading one of the most popular sites while including feminist and womanist content helped inspire me to increase my knowledge on feminism and womanism, and participate on the kinja network. I wish you all the best.

You are the internet I was waiting for. Good luck in your new role, and Thank you , thank you so much for your articles, your

Here's a shot of what I see when I search my "personal" email for "Dodai@jezebel.com."

THANK YOU!

It's an officially licensed shirt, so it has to go through someone at DC at some point. The fact that it got through those people is what's so problematic.

Something needs to be done about this. Really. To have an entire industry remain clueless about women fans young and old. It's embarrassing and depressing to keep reading articles like this.

Regarding the Batman's wife T-shirt, it just doesnt' make sense. I mean, Batman doesn't get married as far as I know, and who would want to be Batman's wife? The guy puts fighting crime first among anything, and by all accounts he's crazy. Living with him just isn't going to be a happy relationship.

Their ineptitude with this stuff is almost comical.

"Every time something like this happens, it's because someone at DC, multiple someones even, looks at these products and thinks 'Yes, there's nothing wrong with this' - and there's something horrifying about that, considering the backlash they come under from the public when things like that happens."

This is my only thought when I listen to Christians give their opinion about Muslims.

That the company that gave us Wonder Woman (not to mention such other great characters as Donna Troy, Manhunter, Batwoman and Renee Montoya) keeps shooting itself in the foot with female fans like this speaks volumes to why the company can be such a mess.
