I would even consider adding the first scene of season 6's flash-sideways, with Jack on the plane and the Island underwater (and maybe even the Jacob/Man-in-Black story as an epilogue or an esoteric Dharma legend). That’s definitely not true, as Marvel had announced wayyyy before hand they were doing the shared universe thing.
