Here’s what I did: I opened up a Charles Schwab bank account. Their debit card has 0% foreign transaction fee and I can use banks abroad and at home without any net fees either (they are refunded at the end of the month)

I also love the touchpad! Very quick and responsive. And unlike Nick and some other commenters on here, I don’t tend to lose it or need to reorient it. Of course, I’m probably not like most people and actually bother to put my remote on the table...

I’m the opposite for battery percentage. If I don’t have it on, I get anxious because then I try to guess the percentage and get bothered that I don’t have an accurate measure. Having an actual percentage gives me peace of mind. The only time I might get anxious now is if battery dips below 20% and I get the low

I find that I drive much worse when trying to listen to a podcast while driving because I try to pay attention to the podcast rather than the road. Stopped listening to podcasts as a result

lame i was just about to check Austin :(

This advice works for writers starting out. Doesn’t work so well when money is on the line. Before pitching your idea to an investor, please make sure both it and you are ready to the best of your current ability. When you are trying to come up with ideas or refining them, then you can come back to this advice

Does anyone else not like the rounded corners that the Pixel has? I noticed it on the Samsung Galaxy S8 too when it came out and it just bothers me. Like, I notice extra screen space they cut out due to it and it unsettles me for some reason

Slimness of phones is highly subjective. Also, I’m considering the fact that they may want to put in more components without expanding the current size of the phones. Bluetooth headphones definitely need more battery on average although so did smartphones once upon a time (still do too for their size. It’s always a

These days, every single millimeter of a phone has to be used in an efficient way to provide features. A headphone jack takes up a fair amount of space and has only one function. Why not get rid of it to have space to cram in a bigger battery or a taptic engine or AR features? A easy solution is at hand by either

It’s not so much needing a new phone that gets me. It’s the fact that prices for the my iphone will decrease and I’ll get less money for it later. I’d happily wait a few months or more if the amount I could sell it for wouldn’t decrease

Eh, I would still go just to be able to make fun of it. I don’t like repeating some random person’s complaints on the internet. Less credibility that way. You should go one time even if it’s only the one time and own your own bad experience. (I say the same thing about Bourbon St in New Orleans. Go there your first

I decided to skirt all this and go full dictator mode and decide most everything (with some consultation on a few things) when planning my upcoming Europe trip. Everyone was in agreement to it so it was fine in my case hahaha. That way, everyone has less stress on their end and everyone simply owes only me any money

To explain [anything even mildly complicated] to kids, make it relatable

Intellectuals that didn’t trust the masses. And I can see now why...

Appearing to be partial don’t matter when someone just assumes you’re guilty before you even do anything

They do this with nearly all new laptops now, not just macbooks. It’s so infuriating. Is there any advantage at all to having two different sets of key sizes for the arrow buttons?

but anecdotal evidence is always reliable right? /sarcasm

Real reason I tend to use Safari over Chrome: it drains less battery during use. Especially when watching videos. I don’t use Chrome until I have to on Macs for this reason

Too bad we don’t have more of this during this election season (on both sides of the aisle!)

But he never get chicks with that thing. Chicks dig the car.
