Check out Mr. Money-bags...

Your neighors: “Base-ma-tee.... whut… I ain’t trustin no foruhn rice. Don’t ya’ll have uncle ben’s ?”  :-D

I think he means because you’re playing dice with whether they will weather the slowdown. You might end up with gift card for a closed restaurant.

“We’ve never seen a virus like this spread worldwide before”
Not solely to be contrarian but the 1889 outbreak / flu pandemic went from initial detection to worldwide peak mortality in five weeks.
IMHO, plagues and disease are the normal condition of life. Thucydides wrote about this in the world’s “first history book”.

Oooh. I’ve never heard of this. Thank you!

That sounds like the only appropriate use for that. Makes me glad I was a bartender back when the preferred drink was giving/getting the super-call whiskey for the price of well (or less...)

If you think “nobody” has addressed this, then you haven’t been paying attention. I just moved to Tampa. I need to learn more about the ways of thoughtful responsibility (and teach my wife who appears to consider any level of preparedness as “clutter”).

Snake oil gonna snake oil. This is exactly like Dr. Mc-Namey’s pay-tented Cure-all elixir of the 1800s, the “radium craze”, or the near-eternal belief in powdered X rare-animal part.

Came here to write PB Crisps. You beat me to it. This is the way.
