Bmw didn’t design it. Zf did

Zf makes the transmission in the bmw and the Jeep. Actually most of Chrysler /jeep have either the 8hp or the 9hp zf trans. I worked at the zf plant that made those and I work at bmw driving those cars. The bmw can be tricky but I drive close to 100 cars a day so I am acclimated to it ..
