First, ‘jacking’ creative concepts isn’t new or unusual in the least. Directors have built their entire oeuvre off previous works, just because you can’t put an exact finger on any other director is more telling of your film history than anything else.

It seems to me that everyone with a QT gripe has no concept of why he’s so successful. Especially since the most talked about material (feet, refrences and sgared universe) isn’t even why he’s considered so highly.

Don't forget that SM3 has the killer showcase that was Sandman's origin. TDKR has the worst action scenes I've ever seen in a film of that caliber, amoung all its other dreary failings. Then again since the DP made that awful Depp movie Transcendence, I shouldn't have been surprised.
