I wish I could agree with you, but I can’t. Trump has a history of continuing to consult people he has “fired”:

The Breitards are apoplectic right now. It’s euphoric. This must be what a nitrous oxide overdose would feel like. There’s so much garbage ahead of us to continue clearing, but today we can enjoy this monumental win. Cannot wait to see him plod back behind the scenes and rile up his hate machine with the sights

I don’t buy this at all. I have the exact opposite reading of the “firing.” Trump has had establishment types breathing down his neck recently and trying to control him. This wasn’t an angry firing or displacement of Bannon, this was just relocating Rasputin outside the palace so he is unfettered to do Trump’s work

No. This has to be part of their plan. Bannon is a propagandist. He is probably more useful out of the White House because then he doesn’t scare as many rational normies

I literally died.

Way to miss the point. ABC wasn’t in the wrong because it told the truth. Perhaps the truth is inconvenient to you or to the people who make food. To fucking bad. It’s the truth.

You’re an engineer, which explains why you have no understanding of libel law.

First time parents are so adorable with their arguments.

I have to go with courtroom dramas too. It’s really not even close. Besides Paths of Glory, there’s also: Anatomy of a Murder, Inherit the Wind, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Verdict, And Justice for All, A Few Good Men...and those are just the A-listers. Plus a bazillion TV shows based on courtroom/lawyer stuff.

12 Angry Men is one of the greatest movies of all time and it has both courtroom drama and sports. Jack Warden’s character talks about nothing but sports and uses nothing but sports metaphors and Martin Balsam’s character was a high school football coach. So there you go.

It’s because he has so much of his finite energy saved from never exercising. All that energy we waste moving around? He saved it, painstakingly, for 70 years so he could eat sub-par greasy chicken in bed. Probably saves more energy by shitting the bed.

I mean, sure, it seems like a lot of money. But imagine how much it would have cost them to not create a culture of rampant sexual harassment for decades.
