That's not what I meant. I'm just pointing out that the writers have been consistent about the wedding ring stuff. Never a flashforward without it so they pay close attention to who's married or not in whatever year it is.

I used to refuse the theory that the Mother will die but after this episode I'm doubting my resolve. I said "will die" because I'm sure that she's not dead in the year 2030 and here's why: in the Time Traveler episode, we know that Ted will "talk" to his 20 years from now self. 20 years from now Ted said he's married

I enjoyed this episode even though I wish they at least advance with the wedding plot. I don't know if some of you noticed but this was the first episode that featured Barney and Robin TOGETHER, with rings, in a flashforward after the wedding. Although I know that Robin can't have kids, it doesn't mean that they can't
