because correlation =/= causation. Getting married won't magically turn abusive baby daddies into non-abusive husbands.

Yeah, that makes sense. Everybody internally would already know how to get in touch with you or who to go to if they can't, so you don't have to worry about that sort of thing. :)
I assume that it should be pronounced Hee-lo? As in rhyming with Lilo, a Hawaiian name that almost every American is now familiar with?
Word: Frustrated
I disagree. I work as an online teacher with students scattered across the country. For most of them, I'm their only point of contact: if they can't rely on me to respond, they're stuck. If they're waiting for me to unlock a test, they can't make any progress in their course until I do that. If it takes me a week…
(Really late reply, but...) It's the combination of systems from different cultures. Base 60 and a seven-day week come from the Babylonians. The alternating number of days in each month come from the Romans, and is also affected by the fact that a lunar cycle isn't an integer number of days. The 12/24-hour system…
I've just always heard that the rule of thumb when running is that you should be able to talk but not sing. If you can't talk, you're pushing yourself too hard, and if you can sing, you're not exerting yourself enough.

Can we get more fashion tips for us female lifehackers?

Or with basic "dumb" phones. When I dropped my Sony Ericsson w580i, the insurance replaced it with a w760i.
like Olive Garden! Zuppa Toscana and breadsticks today, Seafood Alfredo tomorow!
Yup. The one time I ordered lunch for delivery to my office, it ended up costing twice as much as it would if I went out and bought it, because I had to meet the minimum price for delivery.... :(
Duplos boring? Never!!
Seriously. I'm a California native who moved to Utah right around the time that Orem got an In-n-Out. I still don't understand why everyone was so excited.
