We have creme fraiche, but it's not used as commonly. Hence articles like this one that have to explain what it is. In my experience, it tends to have a connotation of snootiness.
The US cup is actually closer to 240 mL (15 mL per tbsp * 16 tbsp per cup)
This will come in very handy when reading Harry Potter. Now I understand what "pumpkin pasties" are!
WIN + D.
Worked for Jo Rowling!
Thanks!
I can definitely attest to the baby weight thing! I've lost almost all of the pounds, but my hips and thighs are permanently altered. I just gave away all but two pairs of my pre-pregnancy pants, because I couldn't get them past mid-thigh.
watch "What to Expect When You're Expecting": there's a scene where that happens.
Thanks for the warning about weaning! I'll need that info in a few months.
You kind of hinted at it in the intro, but I would make it its own bullet point, something like: "It's not as easy it looks!"
My husband is a gamer. I am not (you should see me trying to play Mario; it's pathetic). However, I'm still just as nerdy as he is in other aspects (Star Trek role-playing, Marvel movies, math, Firefly...) and I'm willing to watch or even try to play occasionally. Gamer guys don't always have to be with gamer girls!
as far as "dunked in abstentia" goes, yo have nothing to worry about. That only happens for deceased ancestors. You're alive, so proxy baptism isn't a possibility.
seriously. I think my wedding was about 4-5000 total. Not sure exactly because my parents and in-laws paid for a lot of it.
Quote: You watch that movie to make fun of it. It's awesome! Unquote.
wow, I was just talking about this with my 18-year-old little sister. She and her friends love to quote/mock this movie
seriously. I swear everybody I know that had a girl last year went with either "Lily" or something weird.
My friends gave their little boy that middle name!
Really? Most of my friends seem to use Pinterest for recipes...
I know that feeling! But that's ok; nobody (sane) will judge you for that. But if it's covered in dust and crumbs or there's unorganized clutter on every surface, THEN there's a problem.
