I was with you until the whole her husband is a dork, it’s not about race or sex shit. Why do white people always want to tell you it is not about race without checking their internalized racism? I was not born in this country and yet I am always checking how casually racism is imbued into every part of our lives.

I fucking LOVE my giant cast iron I got from Cravings at Target. Seriously, I use that damned thing every day and I got it on some wild sale (so, under $20!). I’ve had it for months and months and it is still chugging along great, despite me not properly taking care of any cast iron thing any time. It tolerates my

Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson have broken up. Their relationship died in early April from natural causes, sources told People.

Why?

Does anyone remember Bronson Pinchot’s AVClub interview, where he talked about working with Tom Cruise in Risky Business?

Jane Goodall has lived a life of fearless badass-ery. I, too, greatly admire her and I, too, am confused by Joan Summers’ comment. But I also have to ask: doesn’t anyone read Summers’ posts before they go live? I know all kinds of typos and grammar issues have been pointed out recently so it’s not a proofreader who’s

I really love MIA’s music, but she, like all other anti-vaxxers, is such a bullshitter. Doctors had to pump her kid full of antibiotics after vaccines? She has a shitty doctor if they are giving antibiotics after vaccination. So either her child was coincidentally sick with a bacterial infection or unrelated virus

Oh how I loathe the framing of vaccination as a violation of “rights” and “choice”.

why do all public statements that don’t come from publicists have the most mysterious punctuation situations? spaces between the final word in a sentence and its punctuation, odd sentence fragments that don’t articulate a whole thought, hit-or-miss on using apostrophes in contractions, extra hit-or-miss in use of

M.I.A.’s comments are textbook using social justice to attempt to shield herself from criticism. I find it to be gross.

25 million, let alone 1 million is not what I would call a hefty fine for a company that has revenue greater than 5 billion a year, particularly for a public safety issue that is core to what the fuck they’re supposed to be doing.

As the youngest, the most horrendous and offensive thing I can say to my family is, “I’m not raising my kid to do Shitty Thing My Parents Instilled in Their Kids. The cycle ends with me.”

What gets really old is having people dissect the description of events by a victim of a traumatic situation, and trying to say what did or did not happen and why it is not believable.

I had the same question, but reading her full piece it occurred to me that the assailant could be somebody she knew, so leaving with that person wouldn’t necessarily raise red flags.

It is infuriating that she has to beg people to believe her because she knows most people are operating from the default of disbelief on rape. The phrase “cry rape” itself comes with the picture of hysterical women built into its meaning.

I have been dreading this, but the time has come. I have an admission.

Boredom is valuable in many ways. It helps you calm and focus your brain, it tells you if you’re in the wrong job or relationship, it can even be enjoyable in a lazy Sunday way.

You know, I have to take back some of the rather unkind things I have said about a co-worker, who insists that we all Lysol the toilet after we use it. I said something like “No one gets sick from a goddamn toilet seat!” but I didn’t think that people were out there licking them.  My bad.

You know what the difference between us is? My name, my face, and my social media link are right there. I stand by everything I say and don’t talk shit anonymously.

I have no doubt that he’s very believable. Like, super believable and seems to be telling the truth, clearly, for her to say this in public despite *everything.*
