@Penny: Which is funny because his 9 year old child was there. And we're 30. And all childless except for him.

So frustrated. I just got home from a wedding of a dear friend. At the wedding, my ex from literally 12 years ago gave me a hard time about how I spoke to my husband in front of him. He said, "P's a really nice dude. You need to be nicer to him." Thanks, motherfucker, but I think he knows I was joking and we're…
@margotvellocet: Psst. They're veneers!
@AmosTrue: They are the only indie music videos that I can recall seeing recently, so that's something. Maybe they are a good investment.
@AmosTrue: I guess, but my friend (from the opening band) commented at the time that it was nice being in a 2-piece, because he actually had more money than the Yeasayer guys because there are like 7 of them. I would've negotiated more of that contracted money to stay in my pocket than go to videos.
Who is giving Yeasayer all this money to make these fancy music videos? Are they that popular?
@1drinkofwater: I'm kinda an overreactor, but I would have wanted to have him arrested. It is not OK for a dude to walk up to a woman he doesn't know and lift up an article of her clothing, even if it's like a sweater she has tied around her shoulders! It's technically battery.
@NefariousNewt: I have actually envied her that while watching this show. She does generally seem very happy, but I'm interested to see what her mood is like now that it's all come crashing down.
@queenhobart: She's the rare smart reality star. I truly believe she writes her own books.
@1girl: I have an extreme busted-up nose fetish and thus a huge crush on Owen Wilson. Nonetheless, it's clearly Paul Rudd.
Is it possible to completely support her right to choose to do this and still think she's kind of a jerk? I'd rather not be judgmental of people's reasons for having abortions or selectively reducing, but she and her husband just come off as selfish and obnoxious in the piece. Notice that I say that she and her…
@Elisabeth: Very interesting read. I must say, I think the treatment and punishment of the black child were completely appropriate, and I cannot understand why the white child got off with four days of no tv/video games. And he got to go on the Today Show? Ridiculous; he should have been prosecuted as well. Either of…
@PilgrimSoul: It's so not just a Montreal thing. Even in Denver, which is a decidedly uncool town with almost no club scene, the clubs try to only allow young, attractive, thin white people inside. It's a club thing.
@pursedangler: I love making up songs about my dogs! I'm 30.
@browan04: Yeah, I think the linked article here got it wrong, but the original order definitely stays the ruling until 8/18. :(
I think Jenna Ushkowitz is right - they do make her look less attractive than she is on Glee. I saw a red carpet photo of her at the Teen Choice awards and didn't even recognize her - she was so cute. I guess there isn't room for any cute girls that aren't Lea Michele or the blonde one (Diana something).
@Buggie: Oh yeah, and one Christmas (I wasn't there - this is coming from my husband and sister in law), she put Altoids in FiL's stocking as a wink-wink joke. Apparently she had forgotten she had told all the daughters in law!
My MiL has told me (1) she gives BJ's with Altoids, and (2) when she got her vagina stitched up after some surgery, she had to tell the doctor that FiL was big so that he didn't stitch it too tight. These are things you can't unhear.
@hottotrot: Me too! And so ashamed at the same time!
@Dodai Stewart: I think it could easily be seen either way, depending on your perspective going in. Yes, the clothes are vaguely militaristic (as they are everywhere this season), but the scenery looks so Southwestern that if you're used to seeing Southwestern scenery you would never see Iraq or Afghanistan here.
