Are Brad and Angie drinking? I saw a lot of parents doing this last night, and it rather surprised me.
@colormeroutine: Screaming and crying don't usually bother me, either. I honestly feel like part of it is whether you choose to be annoyed by the screaming. #children
@Spaceman Bill Leah: That is, to this day, the movie that scares me the most. #scarymovies
@hortense: Shudder. I remember surrounding myself (and my little brother) with all of our Care Bears and Care Bear Cousins. We would hold them up and make them "stare" along with the ones on the TV to make that creepy face go away. #scarymovies
@SevenNationArmy has truth tourettes: The original Batman was traumatizing to me for the same reason; his parents die in the first scene. Though I guess that wasn't technically a kids film. #scarymovies
Scariest actually scary children's movie: Watcher in the Woods. A friend and I got really stressed just talking about it the other day. #scarymovies
@i dream of gene shalit: The Care Bears red-eyed kid! He just needed someone to care about him, but he was so scary! #scarymovies
@penguins268: I have to say that if I had a single and got a note like that, I'd try really hard to avoid you so I could keep my single.
@TransFat: Yep, it was like a one-sentence mention. It has always really bothered me. Why did she have so many dogs if she didn't love them? If she loved them, why would she get rid of them for a dude? #nationalcandycornday
@NellMood: I shoulda been a Victorian woman. I take to bed for any ailment. #nationalcandycornday
@Blueberry26: My reasoning would be that he felt powerless losing his wife and child, and rape is a crime about power, not sex. Of course, feeling powerless is neither a good excuse for rape or a legal defense for it.
@Penny: You're right. You can't know, and the rape has nothing to do with the murder. It's just something I think about.
I find it really hard to reconcile the sympathy I feel for Roman Polanski whenever I hear a description of these murders with my disgust for the rape he committed later. I know the brutal murders of his wife and unborn baby are not an excuse for his later act, but I don't think the latter would have happened absent…
@rednrowdy: I admit my only source on this is the show "Eighteen Kids and Counting," but the Duggar boys also practice modesty. They don't take their shirts off when they go swimming. They can also explain why modesty is important to them. #secretkeepergirls
So she threw out her old but sill usable dustmop and bought/made a new, environmentally friendly dustmop? Brilliant. #vogue
@Kang504: From the US Preventative Services Task Force: The USPSTF concludes that the evidence is insufficient to recommend for or against teaching or performing routine breast self-examination (BSE).
