From the Salon article: Perhaps exceptional women athletes would rise to the occasion, train harder, and attain greater personal bests while giving the men a run for their money.

@Idontwanna: I think Coke Mom has a young kid.
@prestocaro fears the culling: I'm pretty sure the Weeds route is the route Betty would take anyway, so it would be totally appropriate for the show to treat the little one that way.
@whyhellothereyeti: Oops, I should have refreshed before guessing the same thing. But why treat "mis" like a profanity?
I can't think of a bad word that starts with "m" and has 3 letters. The worst thing I can think of that fits these parameters is "chupa mis huevos," which means suck my balls. But I don't even think that's too profane for TV.
This photo was taken just an hour or two before the Cubs beat the Dodgers. Suck it, Slater!
@YorubaGirl: I don't know if Blackberries are sturdier than iPhones, but I will say I don't think iPhones are all that fragile. I have a slimline case, and I've dropped mine several times without damage. You have to treat them like the semi-fragile electronic devices that they are. Don't throw them around too much;…
The Burt Reynolds Museum is in my hometown, Jupiter, FL. It's in an older 3 or 4 story office building and looks really seedy from the outside. I've never been.
I actually think Meghan McCain seems like a pretty reasonable person. I disagree with her on almost everything, but she seems fairly thoughtful and sane. Now prove me wrong for ratings, Meghan!
@GeorgeFayne: I don't really know. It's the phrase used in the original article and the phrase Anna rightly called to be better defined in her post.
@pssshwhatever: No, in fact I said that testing should not be public and thus not humiliating. Athletes at her level are tested all of the time for drugs, doping, etc. This should have been handled discreetly as part of that testing.
Awesome - double post.
@pssshwhatever: Honestly, no, because it matters here - it would not be a fair and square competition if she is not entirely female. On the other hand, this should not have been made public.
@spunkay: Because she's competing in the women's race.
As much as I get (and agree with) the sentiment that it's ridiculous that she should have so much while others have so little... I am overcome with sadness and jealousy that I didn't come up with the idea of velour tracksuits so that I could buy this house.
@Dancingfrog: I totally want to start that kind of pageant. Pretty dress, hairdo with real hair only, no makeup, and public speaking/ talent.
@ninles: I've been watching too much Toddlers & Tiaras. I thought she looked cute.
@bookling: It's in Palm Springs, so she probably just doesn't leave the house the 3 times it rains per year.
@Breamworthy: I just went through the same thing with my husband! I had to show him the Wikipedia page before he believed me.
@CarlaGaloof: Not at all. I've never been able to stay on anti-depressants for more than a couple months. They make me really rude, and I can't stand pissing people off all the time. Also, I'm not into pain pills at all.
